Nearly 10 000 visits to the portal in March!
The first quarter of 2008 marked a positive increase in the number of visits to our web portal. This is good news for the spa facilities and resorts presented on the portal, as well as for us as the website operator. Within 4 months website visits have nearly doubled and approached the magical threshold of 10 000 hits (source: phpmyvisites web statistics). The main credit for this success is the English version of the website, visits to which increased by approximately 1 000.
The most visits continue to come from Germany (ca. 40%), followed by the United States (ca. 14%), Austria, Switzerland, and Great Britain.
And what is the reason for this positive trend? One reason is the ever increasing demand for stays in European spas coupled with the fact that clients are using the Internet more and more to obtain information. Another reason is that the website recently underwent a number of modifications with the goal of improving search engine optimization.
As the operator of the website we anticipate that visitation will continue to grow in connection with additional planned improvements and the expansion of portal content and language versions.
