Lipová-lázně - spa resort & hotels
The village of Lipová can be found between the Rychlebské and Hrubý Jeseník mountain ranges around 5km from the town of Jeseník. The treatments used here today have a 150-year tradition and were designed by the spa pioneer Johann Schroth. The immaculate environment of the surrounding mountainous landscape with its wide rounded ridges, tree-covered slopes and rock formations provide a relaxing, soothing atmosphere for all who come here.
Thanks to the local climate the spa specializes in the treatment of psoriasis (including types affecting joints), all kinds of eczema, occupational skin complaints, acne and other chronic skin diseases. Diabetes, thyroid gland problems, obesity and metabolism disorders are also treated here.
Lipová is an attractive place at all times of the year. In winter there are two ski centres and around the village there are several kilometres of cross-country skiing trails. From spring through until late autumn there are excellent conditions in the surrounding area for light hiking and cycling.
