Description:	Bad Elster, situated in the southest region of Saxony, belongs to the almost eldest mud spas in Germany. The well known health resort is not just famous for the natural mud but further more for its 11 springs of healing water. Stimulating mineral and bubble bathes are applied in the unique and original bath tubes made of copper of the time of king Friedrich August II. The restored spa house offers a wide range of health and wellness cures and treatment all under one roof. There you can have mud baths and mud packs, baths containing carbon dioxide, minerals or dehydrated gas, you can apply drinking cure or have massage treatments. For your well-being there are large pool and sauna resorts. The special pools with different temperature of the water, massage nuzzles, jacuzzi or sauna invite you to relax. The old oriental treatment with rasul is not only good for body and soul but again for filling in new energy and applying a soft pack with fragrant cremes and oils you will enjoy a lovely way of care for body and skin. A special experience for body and soul are our wellness treatments like aromatic massages for the whole body, hot-stone-massages, thai-massages and wellness baths with different ingredients, for example moisturing mare milk, special kind of beer bath or romantic bath with blossom of roses. It is not only the unique landscape and healthy surroundings what makes Bad Elster attracive - moreover it is the cultural life having an important position in the spa´s life as a hole. A beautyful park ground with well tended herbaceous borders showing traditional patters of flowers and plants are extended over the whole spa. There you can enjoy walking, hiking, cycling and skiing.
